On February 14, 2014 a 20 year-young man was successfully rescued from bonded labor in a general store. Local government officials and police worked in collaboration with Mahila Haat, a Justice Ventures International Project partner. Government officials ordered the man’s employer to provide him with his back wages. JVI is pursuing rehabilitation for this man with the aid of the Indian government. Please pray for continued efforts to rescue adult bonded laborers in Delhi and rest of India.
