Volunteer Racers Cross 1.25 Million Meter Mark

There are over 35 million slaves in the world today (Global Slavery Index).  JVI has set a goal of covering 3.5 million meters by December 31, 2015 to raise awareness and funds to fight this problem.

Cornerstone studentsOver the last several weeks, thanks to teams of runners and walkers from Dallas,Washington, D.C. and San Diego, JVI has now crossed 1.25 million meters towards this goal. According to the team captain from Cornerstone Schools in Washington, D.C., “the race series provided a fun and interactive way for my students to learn about the issue and get involved in the fight against modern day slavery.”Dallas Team
