Last month, the Justice Ventures International’s Beijing Justice Resource Center and its partner Asian Center for Law & Culture (ACLC) conducted a forum for non-governmental and civil society organizations that serve migrant workers in Beijing, China. This training provided practical knowledge and raised awareness of major migrant legal issues and critical components for effective and healthy organizational development. There were approximately 40 participants representing different organizations at this forum. Nancy Sung, a member of JVI’s Board of Directors conducted a workshop on preparing an effective grant application. Melvin Huang (JVI) and Eva Niu (ACLC) have held multiple trainings this past months among NGOs and law firms regarding migrants issues and rights.
