On December 2, 2014, the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery*, Justice Ventures International (JVI) joined forces with multiple church partners across the U.S. and India to fight modern day slavery through its Free the Captive, Fight the Trafficker Benefit. Hundreds of supporters came together to raise awareness for the almost 30 million men, women and children exploited in sex trafficking, forced labor and other forms of slavery. The event featured stories of rescue and restoration, as well as practical ways for ordinary citizens to aid the victims and help bring perpetrators to justice….
