Recently, JVI published a new Citizen’s Rights manual. Developed by JVI along with its partners, Emmanuel Hospital Association and EFICOR, this manual serves to empower the poor and oppressed in Delhi. The information included is part of a bigger strategy to empower all of India’s poor by promoting access to justice.
India has a significant number of government entitlements available to its residents. Many of those services should, by rights, be available to the poor residents of villages & urban slums. Unfortunately, however, many poor residents are not able to get these services because:
