JVI’s e-JRC Goes Live

“EFICOR alone could not have done this anti-human trafficking work on its own. The training which was given by JVI created an effective ripple effect across other program areas/ sectors of [our] work.” – Staff Member, Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief

“The capacity building training on anti-human trafficking was very helpful to our paralegals and empaneled lawyers.” – Judge and District Legal, Services Authority, Chief Secretary, Purnea, Bihar

“JVI is distinct with its engagement with the public justice system…has worked in and through the system to achieve larger ends … JVI has been very very helpful and critical in our work…in terms of changes in policies and laws.” – Vice-President, IJM South Asia

These are just a few of the comments JVI received during a 2020 impact assessment of JVI’s partnership model. JVI builds the capacity of local nonprofits, businesses and other organizations engaged in the work of justice by coming alongside, joining together as partners and bolstering their effectiveness. JVI’s growing network of 70+ justice partners are empowered through JVI’s legal expertise and trainings.

To put it simply...partnership is the heart of our work.

We are pleased to share that our e-Justice Resource Center (e-JRC) is LIVE and accepting registration from our local justice partners. The e-JRC is an online technology platform for staff and partners to receive advocacy manuals, legal resources, professional development training and access to holistic care providers for counseling and other support. As we look to the future, the e-JRC will positively impact JVI’s ability to serve new regions and provide a system for rapid dissemination of information throughout our network of existing and new partners.

Thank you to our supporters who gave generously to launch this platform with over 100 equipping and training resources available at no cost to those who benefit from the materials.

We anticipate the e-JRC growing and evolving in the months and years ahead as we continue to secure justice for individuals, empower local partners, and improve justice systems.

JVI wishes to acknowledge Jeanny K. Lee, JVI’s General Counsel, for overseeing this project. Jeanny, working alongside the e-JRC steering committee, has done an excellent job ensuring successful development and launch.
