The Holiday Freedom Market is a fundraiser focuses on raising awareness about the plight of human trafficking. It was launched in 2019 by a small group of women in Northern Virginia to raise awareness for freedom initiatives by promoting freedom businesses. These freedom businesses aim to restore dignity to exploited women and to empower them with education and careers. The 2019 Holiday Freedom Market was funded and hosted by Open Door Presbyterian Church in Herndon, VA, a partnership church with JVI for over a decade in the fight to stop human trafficking.
This year, the Holiday Freedom Market’s goal is to raise $15,000 in sales revenue to support freedom businesses and JVI’s work on the front lines. The Market will be offered as an in-person two-day event on November 12th & 13th, and participants will also be able access the market online through an online shop.
