2018 Annual Report – A Year of Freedom

September 6, 2019 | JVI

We are pleased to share JVI’s 2018 Annual Report.

Thanks to you and the dedicated work of our staff and partners, JVI directly impacted over 20,000 lives and thousands more were indirectly impacted through the ongoing work of our justice partners.

Through the power of partnerships, we provided freedom, justice and restoration in three countries through three key projects. JVI’s partnership model allows us to be effective, efficient, sustainable and scalable.

One example is Suresh Manjhi and his wife, Rajiya Devi, pictured below. They were freed from multigenerational agricultural slavery along with 158 others. Today, four years later, they are experiencing sustained freedom including decent jobs, education for their children, new financial assets, and a safer community where their rights are respected.

Read more about their story and hundreds of others served by JVI in 2018, including the cost per life served.  JVI is committed to wise stewardship of every donation we receive. Our partnership model allows us to leverage our resources for maximum achievement as we seek to transform unjust communities for good.
